Whether you’re joining CICA for the first time or renewing for another year, this page makes it simple. Your membership strengthens a trusted platform for community connection, cultural celebration, practical support, and participation in Calgary.
Membership is open to individuals who support CICA’s Objects and community mission.
How membership works
CICA membership is designed to be clear, transparent, and easy to manage. In just a few steps, you can join or renew and receive confirmation and receipts (where applicable).
Step 1 – Choose a membership type
Select the membership option that best matches your situation—individual, family, student/youth, senior, or supporting (if available). If you’re unsure, start with the standard option and you can adjust at renewal.
Step 2 – Register your details
Complete your membership registration so CICA can maintain accurate member records and send important notices, confirmations, and community updates. We collect only what’s needed to administer membership responsibly.
Step 3 – Payment & confirmation
Complete payment (if applicable). You’ll receive a confirmation email and receipt. Your membership becomes active for the term shown on your confirmation.
Step 4 – Participate and stay connected
Attend events, join programs, volunteer, and take part in member meetings. Eligible members can vote at the AGM and support good governance as CICA grows.
